Fill up Mr. Fusion with your replicator scraps, Burnham and crew are headed back to the future in Season 3 of the CBS All Access original series Star Trek: Discovery.

Today, the streaming platform announced the October 15th release date for the third season with some images below. Actor David Ajala, (Supergirl’s Manchester Black) joins the Disco crew this season as Brook in a story set 930 years from home.

Familiar characters Saru, Tilly, Stamets, Culber, and Georgiou will also be on the bridge for this spectacular third season of the popular Star Trek series, now introducing time travel to separate this crew from any other previous iterations of Trek. That alone should offer plenty of storytelling opportunities and allow Trek an opportunity to break away from familiar plot patterns.
